Murnong Mammas Lunches
In 2015, a group of Aboriginal women, with a love of cooking, wanted to share their knowledge of indigenous ingredients and how to cook with them. The Murnong Mammas was formed and they generously share their knowledge and delicious food with our community. Usually $15 for a 2 course meal.
Last Thursday of each month.
Fridays after school during school terms, some activities during the school holidays.
Café Skills for Industry - Expressions of Interest
CCE offers basic training in its fully equipped training kitchen. The course will provide barista training and coffee roasting experience, RSA training and basic food handling techniques while developing basic cooking and serving skills. This course is ideal for young people who have left school early and aren’t ready for assessment in accredited courses. Learners may then enrol to complete accredited hospitality units or courses with some confidence and experience.
Introduction to Community Services - Expression of Interest
This course has been designed to develop the foundation skills required for a career in volunteering or progressing to further studies in Aged Care, Disability Services or Youth Work. Learners, especially young people, are able to make more informed decisions on a career in Community Services following this course.
